Last updated: January 20, 2026

1. What the Killer Move-In Shield Includes

The Killer Move-In Shield includes:

  • An on-site electrical safety and inspection-risk review
  • A same-day, photo-backed summary report suitable for sharing with inspectors, realtors, lenders, and insurance providers
  • A correction allowance of up to $200 applied toward common, non-permitted electrical safety fixes (subject to site conditions and access)
  • A single bundled visit designed to resolve the most common electrical inspection issues
  • A scope-limited Pass-or-We-Return guarantee (see Section 6)

2. Correction Allowance (Important)

The correction allowance is a prepaid credit (up to $200) applied toward small, common electrical safety corrections completed during the visit, subject to site conditions and access.

Examples of items typically eligible under the allowance include:

  • Replacement of GFCI receptacles
  • Repair or replacement of loose or damaged receptacles
  • Installation of missing blank covers on junction boxes
  • Correction of open grounds where a grounding conductor already exists
  • Securing exposed wiring
  • Breaker labeling or minor panel housekeeping

The allowance may be applied to one or multiple small items, up to the stated limit.

3. What Is Not Included

The Killer Move-In Shield does not include the following, even if noted in an inspection report:

  • Electrical panel replacement or upgrades
  • AFCI retrofits or breaker replacements
  • Rewiring or new circuit installation
  • Troubleshooting dead or intermittent circuits
  • Work requiring permits or utility coordination
  • Wall, ceiling, or finish removal
  • Drywall repair, patching, or painting

Items outside the Shield scope will be clearly identified and quoted separately, often the same day.

4. Pricing & Payment

  • The Killer Move-In Shield is offered at a flat price of $499
  • Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing
  • Any work exceeding the included allowance must be approved before proceeding

5. Report Use & Limitations

  • The Shield report reflects visible and reasonably accessible conditions only
  • Hidden conditions behind walls, ceilings, or finished surfaces are excluded
  • The report represents conditions observed at the time of service only
  • This is not a substitute for a full code compliance audit or engineering evaluation

6. Pass-or-We-Return Guarantee (Scope-Limited)

If an electrical item that is identified in the Killer Move-In Shield report as corrected, and is within the defined Shield scope, fails a standard home inspection for that same item, Killer Electric will return one time to address the issue at no additional labor charge.

This guarantee does not apply if:

  • Another party modifies or alters the electrical system after our service
  • The failed item falls outside the Shield scope
  • The re-inspection occurs more than 14 days after service
  • New issues are identified that were not part of the original correction

7. Scheduling & Access

  • The homeowner or authorized representative must provide safe access to all relevant areas
  • Delays caused by lack of access may require rescheduling
  • Unsafe or hazardous conditions may limit the scope of work performed

8. Intended Use

The Killer Move-In Shield is designed for buyers under contract, sellers preparing for inspection, and lender/insurance-requested electrical corrections. It is not intended for major renovations, full system upgrades, or remodeling projects.

9. Acceptance of Terms

By scheduling or authorizing the Killer Move-In Shield, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions.
